The Al Attarine Madrasa in Fez, Morocco is an exquisite example of intricate Islamic architecture. Built in the 14th century, the madrasa was commissioned by the Marinid Dynasty and boasts a stunning rectangular courtyard featuring carved stucco ornamentation, zellige mosaic tiles and marble columns with carved wooden arches and cornices. It stands out among other nearby attractions such as the Chouara Leather Tannery, Fes el-Bali and University of Al-Karaouine, and is a magnificent display of Moroccan culture and history. Visitors to the madrasa can admire its awe-inspiring beauty and marvel at its complexity- making it a must-see attraction while in Fez.
