Wat Phra That Hariphunchai is a Buddhist temple in Lamphun, Thailand. The temple's origins date from the 11th century but the central stupa is thought to originate in the 9th century. It's very beautiful and crowded, especially during Loy Khratong festival where the temple is decorated with thousands of lanterns. Make sure to visit it during the day and during the night (during Loy Khratong only) when all the lanterns are illuminated. Temple is open from 6AM to 6PM.
