The Rock House, located at the Borve Lodge Estate in Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, boasts luxury self-catering facilities for two. The aim of the design was to blend the house into existing natural rock terraces built from ancient stone and heather, with some of the rocks weighing up to 9.5 tons. Inside, raw furniture crafted from driftwood provides a minimalistic feel with under-floor heating supplied by an air source heat pump. The large bedroom, complete with a bespoke superking bed, leads into a spacious bathroom with 'his and hers' sinks lovingly anchored onto slate slabs. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the Atlantic waves while thick sumptuous curtains can be drawn to provide privacy. With fireplaces ready to warm you up and Gneiss rocks adorning the shelves, The Rock House is the perfect escape for two!
