Lady Stair's Close is an exciting site located off of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, Scotland. Built in 1622 for Sir William Gray of Pittendrum, this close is best known for being home to the Scottish Writers' Museum. Here you can see memorabilia that celebrates the lives of Sir Walter Scott, Robert Louis Stevenson and Robert Burns - all of whom lived in Edinburgh at some point in their lives.
