On the journey to the Butt of Lewis, encountering residences is a rare occurrence, and finding shops is even more infrequent. Therefore, when I passed by Sea in Design, I felt compelled to make a stop.
The shop is hard to overlook, with its facade adorned with an assortment of fishing traps and vibrant buoys. Initially, I was puzzled about its nature—was it a fisherman's abode or the dwelling of an eccentric individual?
As it turns out, Sea in Design is an antique shop, boasting an extraordinary collection sourced from the attics of the Isle of Lewis. Within its confines, one can discover boat models, china, vintage books, storm lamps, and even fishing flies.
For those seeking a genuinely authentic memento from Lewis, this establishment proves to be a noteworthy destination!
