Message from Elisa in Iceland

The street towards one of the most famous buildings in Iceland (Halgrimskirkja) is a bit famous itself too. It makes for perfect photo opportunities!

Rainbow Street in Reykjavik is a vibrant and colourful place that has become a focal point of the city.

With its permanent rainbow-coloured paint on Skólavörðustígur street, it serves as a reminder to visitors and locals alike of Iceland's friendliness and acceptance of the LGBTQ community. As part of the Reykjavik Pride celebration which takes place each year, the residents were invited to participate in the painting of this street.
