Puck's Glen in Argyll and Bute, Scotland is an enchanting place like no other. This ethereal, rainforest-like gorge is home to waterfalls, quaint bridges, and even fairy folk! Originally developed by a sugar merchant in the 1870s as a place for visitors to enjoy nature's beauty, today it is owned by the Scottish Forestry Commission. Visitors should look out for Poca Ban, a mischievous sprite, and Ghillie Dhu, a shy fairy who wears leaves and moss. The best time to visit is in June, when the rhododendrons are in full bloom, or after a rainstorm - however, really any day is good to explore this magical glen!
