Gearrannan Blackhouse Village Ltd is a fantastic and unique attraction for visitors to the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Set in a deep cove on the southwest edge of the island, the village features beautifully restored traditional blackhouses, or thatched stone-walled dwellings, that served as homes to both people and animals for hundreds of years.
